Piano students from Star City Music Studios participated in the Ohio Federation of Music Club’s District III-E Junior Music Festival on March 7th at the University of Dayton. We are proud to announce that every student from SCMS received a “Unanimous Superior” – the highest rating from Federation!
Instructors Samee Griffith Mood and John Wright visited with their students throughout the morning, and John judged a portion of the Piano Solo event. Aaron Mood, Samee’s husband, also judged. Aaron will be joining the faculty at SCMS in June of this year.
The Ohio Federation of Music Clubs is a member of The National Federation of Music Clubs, a non-profit philanthropic and educational organization dedicated to music education and promotion of creative and performing arts in America since 1898.
